Kotoko have mandated youth team Coach, Abdul Gazelle to lead the side on the interim.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently working on resolving an impasse between head Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and management.
Narteh has submitted his resignation letter after refusing to come to terms with the Club’s management on certain decisions.
The former WAFA trainer who joined Kotoko before the start of the 2021/22 season is unwilling to continue his duties with the Ghana Champions having led them to the League title last season.
The Board of the club have therefore been engaging the Coach to rescind his decision and take up his role at the Club.
Kotoko meanwhile will begin preseason tomorrow and have asked youth team Coach Abdul Gazelle to take charge of the first team until further notice.
He could thus be leading the side to Turkey for the preseason tour in the coming days
