"Ken Ofori-Atta Is Not Dead" – Aide Confirms


An Aide to Ghana's Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta, Prince Michael Ofori-Atta has confirmed that the Minister is alive opposing the fake rumour that he is dead.


According to him, the Minister has arrived safely adding he is set to undergo his post-COVID-19 medical complications.

In a tweet sighted by ThinkNews Online, he said “Good morning, Honourable Minister-designate’s Delta 157 flight has landed. He’s in good spirits. He sends his regards"


It will be recalled that the Ministry of Finance in a communique on Sunday, February 14, 2021, revealed that the Minister was sick and had been flown to the States to seek medical care.

The Ministry says due to the situation, Ken Ofori-Atta's meeting with the Appointments Committee of Parliament which was slated for February 16 has been cancelled.


A new date will be communicated soon.
