"Keep The Same Energy For Our U-20 Women's Team Who Also Qualified For Their World Cup" - Nadia Eke


US based Ghanaian triple jumper, Nadia Eke has hit hard on President Akufo-Addo saying he should also keep the same energy for the U-20 Women's Team, Black Princesses for also qualifying to the FIFA World Cup scheduled for Costa Rica in August 2022.


According to her, sports are not inherently male.


In an Instagram story sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, she posted "Cool and all but I need ya'll to keep the same energy for our U-20 Women's Team who also qualified for their World Cup. Sports are not inherently male Mr. President @NAKUFOADDO"


She further questioned what message is being sent to young girls about their importance in society.


"Also what message do we send young girls about their importance in society when we do stuff like this"


"It's 2022, do better"


The Triple jumper added that although disappointed, she is not surprised.


Background

It will be recalled to the Black Princesses five days ago, eliminated their Ethiopian counterparts 5 - 1 to book a slot at the FIFA World Cup scheduled for Costa Rica in August 2022.
