Information reaching Thinknewsonline.com indicates that some scores of Hajj Pilgrims have hit the streets protesting over high fees charged by the Hajj board in the wake of their Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca.
According to the would-be pilgrims, they are disappointed in the board and are calling for the sack of its Chairman, Sheikh I. C. Quaye.
The would-be pilgrims were unable to make their holy trip in 2020 following the covid-19 outbreak.
In other developments, some 433 Hajj Pilgrims are ready to leave Ghana for Saudi Arabia from Tamale.
The 433 pilgrims will be the first batch to make the Holy trip since 2020.
