JUST IN: Kojo Bonsu concedes defeat, calls to congratulate Mahama on landslide victory

News reaching Thinknewsonline.com indicates that Presidential Hopeful for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Bonsu has conceded defeat and thus placed a call to congratulate candidate John Mahama on his landslide victory.


Kojo Bonsu took to his social media handles to make the announcement.


In a Facebook post sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, he wrote "I have placed a call to H.E John Dramani Mahama to congratulate him for the landslide victory.”


He also added that despite the outcome of the elections, he will continue to serve the NDC party.


"Regardless of the outcome of this elections, I'll continue to serve the NDC party. Thank you."


It is emergingthat Candidate Mahama has secured over 90% of the votes in almost every constituency.


The votes secured tends to his position as the Flagbearer for the NDC as it prepares for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
