JUST IN: Gov't extends expiration of Domestic Debt Exchange to January 31

The Government of Ghana says it has extended the expiration of the Domestic Debt Exchange to January 31, 2023.
The Ministry of Finance took to its official Twitter handle to make the announcement.
In the tweet sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, it said "Pending further stakeholder engagement with institutional and individual investors, recently invited to join the debt exchange programme, government is extending the expiration of the DDE to Jan 31, 2023"
It added that building a consensus is key to a successful economic recovery for Ghana.
