JUST IN: Akuapem Poloo Granted GHC80,000 Bail

ThinkNews Online can confirm that social media influencer, Rosemond Brown, known in showbiz as Akuapem Poloo has been granted bail by the Criminal Division of the Accra High Court.

The court which was presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey slapped the social media influencer with a charge of GHC80,000.

ThinkNews Online has also gathered that Akuapem Poloo is expected to report to the case Investigator every two weeks.

It is emerging that Akuapem Poloo has also been asked to submit her passport to the registrar of the court. The social media influencer will only leave the country with the express permission of the court.

ThinkNews Online has also gathered Akuapem Poloo has been able to satisfy the court on the four grounds of bail pending appeal.

It will be recalled that On April 21, Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to a 90-day jail term by the Criminal Court 2 Division of the High Court.

Her lawyers however filed a notice of appeal and application for bail against their actress’ custodial sentence at the same time.

She was sentenced to serve as a deterrent to other celebrities who expose themselves on social media.
