Information reaching ThinkNewsOnline indicates that JoyNews/Fm's News Anchor, Komla Adom has quit the Multimedia family and is set to join 'ABC News'.

Sources close to the versatile journalist says there will be a shocking announcement in the coming days which will see Komla Adom being unveiled as a new member of East Legon-based news cable, ABC News.

It is emerging that Komla Adom quit the Multimedia Group in June over what close friends and associates believe was "a breakdown in relationship - between the presenter and management"

ThinkNewsOnline has also gathered that the presenter was yanked off-air in March this year over disagreements on his fashionable rings he wore on his fingers whiles airing the news.

Though there is no official word on his next move yet, there are speculations he could be joining either TV3 or Asaase Radio.

However fresh information available to ThinkNewsOnline has it that, ABC News could be his next destination.

Although the ABC News' TV Network is currently on-test transmission, the former JoyNews/Fm presenter is likely to be the new News Anchor.

Kingsley Komla Adom's resignation adds to a tall list of reporters and presenters who have quit the media giant in the last five months.

Captain Smart, Nana Yaa Brefo, Naa Ashorkor, Norvan Acquah Hayford, Emma Morrison and Sammy Yirenkyi have all left the group.

ThinkNewsOnline will be updating its readers on new developments.
