The Minister of Energy, Matthew Opoku Prempeh has admitted that some parts of the country is experiencing intermittent power supply.
According to him, this is due to an Aboadze switch yard plant which got burnt.
Addressing Journalists in Accra on Wednesday, he said "It is true that some parts of the country is experiencing intermittent power supply. We are hoping that Ghanaians will bear with us as we are working it"
He also appealed to persons causing harm to ECG workers to stop saying his outfit will no longer tolerate such acts.
"The harming and butchering our staffs is unacceptable and we will no longer tolerate this"
He called on the Ghanaian populace to pay whatever he or she owes.
The Sector Minister also told Journalists that the loses ECG has accroduded is nearly GHc3.2Billion.
