Interior Minister Declares August 4 As Statutory Holiday


The Minister for Interior, Ambrose Dery has declared August 4, 2021, as a statutory holiday.

According to him, the day has been set aside to celebrate Founders' Day.

In a communique sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, he said "The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 4th August 2021 which marks Founders' Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
