“If you have wild ideas, just do it — but don’t let people saying it’s too much stop you from doing it, because then nobody will ever do anything.”

These were the empowering words of Ayebea Darko, Executive Producer of the hit reality TV show GH Queens, at the official premiere of its third season.

The much-anticipated launch took place on Tuesday at the Subtle Class Event Centre in East Legon, drawing fans, media, and members of the cast — including Efia Odo, Cocotrey, Cookie, Season (Musician), and Wesley.

Ayebea acknowledged the challenges of managing a larger cast this season but remained optimistic.

"This season has been very testing because we expanded our cast, but I feel like more stories are being told — so it’s a plus for me. It’s a lot of fun, it’s a good time," she said, urging audiences to stream the new season on YouTube.

She further noted the difficulty of bringing multiple personalities together under one production:

"It’s never easy, but the cast was professional and committed to the end goal, so it worked beautifully."

On her part, Ghanaian socialite and TV personality, Efia Odo opened up about her personal transformation and how it unfolds in the latest season of the hit reality series.

"Season 3, you get to see me growing. You see the growth I’ve acquired throughout the years. I’m a bit more calm, a bit more spiritually inclined. You see a difference in my behavior — how I try to bring peace into chaos," she shared.

Efia described this season as a turning point in both the show and her personal journey.

"You get to see a more spiritually elevated Esiodo. My dashing game, yes, but beyond that, it’s a different side of me — though I’m still the same Esiodo."

Reflecting on the evolution of the show’s production, she praised the quality leap from earlier seasons: "From Season 1 to now, there's been a huge level-up — in production, in content quality, and especially the investment in our storylines."

She emphasized that the drama isn't manufactured:

“A lot of the cool things in the series, it’s not scripted. It’s our real lives. We’re just maneuvering through events and emotions.”

For Efia, this season also marks a deeper spiritual awakening.

"I’m not saying I’m a good girl. I’m just being my higher self. I used to act from my lower self — I didn’t know myself, even though I loved myself. But now, I’ve found Christ. I’ve come to know the Spirit of God that lives within me, and I’ve become one with that."

ree

She urged Ghanaians to rally behind locally produced content: "We’re growing as a country in the media space, and we just need Ghanaians to support. I really hope everyone tunes in, because this is something special."

Cookie, a cast member of the highly anticipated GH Queens Season 3 spoke passionately about the importance of unity and authenticity in Ghana’s growing entertainment space, urging fans to appreciate the power of collaboration over comparison.

ree

"I don’t know why people compare in the first place. The entertainment industry is a beautiful one, and I feel like once we do everything together — more like a united kind of thing — it’s amazing," she shared at the Season 3 premiere.

Reflecting on the journey so far, she noted the progress being made "I would say we’re getting there. I’d even say we’re already doing it — maybe we’re just not noticing. And we’ll keep getting better, because practice makes perfect."

For her, GH Queen Season 3 represents both personal and collective growth.

"I’ve been saying this — people may not believe me — but I don’t even remember what I did in there, because I was just being myself, full-time. So, I honestly can’t wait to watch and see what I even did."

ree

She described the season as rich in “lessons, drama, and bonding,” and praised the cast for showing up with sincerity "I won’t even call it playing roles. These ladies came in to show their authentic selves. We’re all different, we all stand out in our own way — but we still managed to merge perfectly."

The experience, she added, has been unforgettable.

"It’s just been a great experience. I love her so much — I love that she [the producer] put this together. I really hope this isn’t the last one. We want more. We really want more."

Ghanaian Musician, Sefa, one of new cast members of GH Queens Season 3 made a heartfelt appeal to Ghanaians and global audiences to support the groundbreaking reality TV series,

Reflecting on her experience working with new cast members, Sefa admitted it wasn’t always smooth sailing “Meeting new faces and dealing with them wasn’t easy at first — you know, when you put women in the same room, the drama comes. But this time, we handled it really well. It started off difficult, but towards the end, it was nothing but amazing — drama, fun, laughter, anything you want.”

ree

She emphasized the importance of supporting homegrown content "We don’t really have any reality TV series in Ghana like this, so this should be your first. And I promise, you’re going to love it.”

In a passionate call to action, she likened GH Queens Season 3 to popular international shows 'Love Island, and Young & Famous anything like that — make sure you tune into this one. Because this one is for us. Spread the word. Tell people about it.”

Bra Kwame, a social media influencer who doubled as a host of the GH Queens Season 3 premiere shared some powerful reflections on Ghana’s entertainment industry, stressing the critical role of national support in pushing creative boundaries.

"I think we’re definitely getting there — especially with a show like this. It’s consistently gotten better and better every season," they remarked, highlighting the visible progress of GH Queens over the years.

ree

But despite the gains, they cautioned that growth could stall without one key ingredient: support.

"The only thing that may hold us back — not just in this show, but in the industry as a whole — is the lack of support. Other countries, even on the continent, have large populations abroad who support their own regardless of personal differences. They understand the bigger picture: pushing their culture forward."

Bra Kwame made a passionate call to Ghanaians: "Whether it’s this show, or Ghanaian entertainment, tourism, or culture in general, we need to support each other. The only way we’ll get to the heights we dream of is if we do it together."

ree

On what viewers can expect from Season 3, he promised a compelling mix of emotion, energy, and sisterhood.

"There’s going to be a lot of drama. There’s going to be a lot of healing. A lot of surprises. And even more than the first and second seasons, this one will show real girl-on-girl friendship. It’s refreshing to see women come together without it always being about catfights."

He expressed a heartfelt appreciation for the Ayebea Darko for her splendid production "Special shout-out to my girl, BZ Ayebea Darko. Congratulations on another amazing season. This is an award-winning show. It’s absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. If we’re already on Season 3, who knows what Season 4 will bring?"

Ghanaian fashion enthusiast, Abena Agyemang has urged viewers to throw their weight behind the third season of GH Queens, Ghana’s fast-rising reality show now streaming on YouTube.

“I know this season is going to be so interesting. I can’t wait for the drama!”

ree

Known for her style and vibrant energy, Abena made it clear where her loyalties lie “I’m here for the fashion — because yeah, I’m a fashion girl!”

She also hinted at the sparks viewers should expect: “Some of the cast, I already know them from social media. I know they’re going to bring the heat.”

ree

Calling for national support, she emphasized the importance of promoting homegrown content "Let’s support our own. I think this is the first Ghanaian reality show, and if we support it, it’s going to go worldwide.”

“This is just like all the reality shows we’ve been watching — so let’s support the girls. Trust me, it’s really interesting. If you haven’t watched it, check it out on YouTube. Please, guys, go and watch it!”
