Member of Parliament (MP) for Damongo Constituency, Samuel A. Jinapor, has committed to resolving misunderstandings with the Jakpa Palace.
According to him, Jakpa Palace is his natural home.
In an interview with Damongo-based Spear FM, Mr. Jinapor emphasized his respect for the Chieftaincy institution and reaffirmed his strong ties to the King and Overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Soele Bi Kunoto.
"The Yagbonwura is traditionally my grandfather and overlord, and I will never do anything to undermine him," he stated.
The Minister attributed recent tensions to miscommunication and misunderstandings, vowing to take all necessary measures to restore normalcy.
"I will take all measures necessary to restore normalcy between myself and the Jakpa Palace which is my natural home," he asserted.
Mr. Jinapor called for peace, unity, and calm in the Gonja Kingdom and particularly in Damongo, urging a collective focus on development.
