Veteran Ghanaian Musician, K.K. Fosu has recently addressed the backlash over his absence at the funeral of the late blogger, Jean Claude Tamakloe.
During an interview on an Accra-based television station, K.K. Fosu explained his reasons for not attending, stressing his lack of a personal connection to the deceased.
"I don’t even know Jean Claude," K.K. Fosu revealed, explaining that their only meeting occurred on the day of the tragic accident that claimed Tamakloe's life.
He clarified that Tamakloe was not a member of his team at the time, which influenced his decision not to attend the funeral.
The musician expressed frustration over the public assumptions and expectations placed on him, emphasizing that his absence was not out of disrespect but due to the lack of a personal relationship.
K.K. Fosu also accused Elom Beenie of spreading false reports suggesting he deliberately chose not to attend, which he says have damaged his reputation.
"Elom Beenie is behind the trending reports that I intentionally refused to attend," he stated, urging Beenie to stop tarnishing his image with misinformation.
"Desist from tarnishing my image because I’m innocent," he warned.
