Information reaching ThinkNews Online indicates tension has mounted as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Daniel Asare is set to go on retirement on September 3, 2020.
His retirement comes after a press release which was signed by the CEO of CODA, Jerry Ahmed Shai who doubles as the Acting Board Chairman of the Institution found itself in the media space.
The letter said "The Board of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital wishes to inform its cherished staff and the general public that the term of office for Dr. Daniel Asare, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Hospital, comes to an end with effect from 3rd September, 2020"
The statement also revealed that Dr. Ali Samba , the Director of Medical Affairs, is to act as the CEO until a substantial appointment is made.
