Harry Kane Next Club Odds Amid Manchester United And Man City Interest

Think News Online

Manchester City is the favorites to sign Harry Kane this summer, although bookmakers believe it's more likely the striker will stay at Tottenham.

Kane's future at Spurs was thrown into doubt on Monday after reports emerged that the 27-year-old has reiterated his desire to leave the club having grown frustrated at its decline in recent years.

Barring a miracle, the Spurs will fail to qualify for the Champions League for a second consecutive season this year and haven't won a trophy since 2008.

It's been widely reported that City and Manchester United, as well as Chelsea, have already registered an interest with the England captain's representatives.

It's understood that the Blues are on the hunt for a new striker this summer as they look to replace departing legend Sergio Aguero, with Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland thought to be the top target.

MEN Sport understands that United had also settled on Haaland as their center-forward priority but is now happy to shelve plans to sign a No.9 following Edinson Cavani's contract renewal.

Tottenham's renowned stubbornness over transfer fees, as well as United's reluctance to deal with chairman Daniel Levy, would potentially put any competitors at an advantage.

Whoever wants to sign Kane this summer will likely have to stump up a nine-figure fee as his contract does not expire until 2024 and Spurs don't want to sell, especially to a Premier League rival.
