News coming in indicates that Ghanaian social media influencer and musician, Mona Faiz Montrage popularly known by many as Hajia4Real has been arrested and sent to the United States of America (USA) to face justice.
Hajia4Real was arrested abroad.
US Attorney, Damian Williams said "Thanks to the efforts of our law enforcement partners, Montrage was arrested abroad and has been brought to the United States to face justice"
The US Attorney also noted that as alleged, Hajia4Real was a member of a criminal conspiracy that specifically targeted older Americans through romance scams.
He stressed that these scams can be both financially and emotionally devastating for vulnerable victims.
