Ghana Post Makes Available 350 Offices To Receive Appiatse Relief Items


The Ghana Post Company Limited as part of their donation towards the Appiatse Support Fund has made available 350 major networked branches, to accept relief items on behalf of the fund.


The gesture follows an earlier request by the Appiatse Support Fund Committee to the Company for assistance to aid the reconstruction of the Appiatse township.


Additionally, the Ghana Post has committed to make trucks available to convey and deliver items from Accra-Appiatse and from Kumasi - Appiatse as and when requested by the fund.


The Ag. Managing Director of Ghana Post, Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour made the donation through a formal letter to the Chairperson of the Appiatse Support fund, Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee on Thursday 24th February, 2022.


The State-owned courier company also used the opportunity to thank the Chairperson and members of Appiatse Support Fund Committee for their effort in soliciting help for the victims and for the reconstruction of Appiatse community.
