Ghana Police Service refutes allegations of secret recruitment exercise

The Ghana Police Service has officially responded to comments made by the Hon. Member of Parliament for Wa West, Mr. Peter Toboo, regarding an alleged ongoing recruitment exercise at the National Police Training School.


According to Mr. Toboo, this recruitment is taking place without any public announcement.


In a statement released by the Police Service, they firmly denied these allegations, clarifying that no such recruitment exercise is currently underway.


The statement emphasized the transparency and public nature of their recruitment processes, reassuring the public that any future recruitment will be properly announced and conducted openly.



"We wish to state that the Police Service has not commenced any exercise of such nature," the statement read.


The Police Service highlighted their commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in their operations, urging the public to disregard any unfounded rumors.


The Police Service also encouraged the public to seek verified information from official channels to avoid the spread of misinformation.
