Ga Mantse commiserate with bereaved family of late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings

The Ga Mantse, His Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, on Monday paid a solemn visit to the Ridge residence of the late Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, to commiserate with the bereaved family.


Accompanied by a delegation from the Ga State, His Majesty signed the book of condolence and expressed heartfelt sympathies to the family of the late stateswoman.

Speaking on behalf of the King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse; Nii Ayikai III, Akanmajen Mantse described Late Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings as “a woman with a kind heart who served her nation with pride,”

He praised that the contributions of the Late Former First Lady to national development and women’s empowerment would be remembered for generations.


He prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family during this difficult period.

He assured them of the Ga State’s full support towards ensuring a befitting and dignified burial for the late Former First Lady.


The King and his entourage were received by Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings and other members of the Rawlings family, who expressed their profound appreciation to the Ga Mantse for his visit and words of comfort.

Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings thanked His Majesty on behalf of the family.

She assured him that the Ga State would be kept informed of all funeral arrangements and developments.

The visit formed part of the Ga Mantse’s continued demonstration of solidarity and compassion toward families of distinguished national figures who have served Ghana with dedication and honour.
