Family Announces Date For Sir John's Funeral

The family of the Former Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie known in the political cycles as Sir John has finally announced the date for the burial of the demised politician.
According to the family, the Late stalwart of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Sakora Wonoo Junior High School in the Ashanti Region.

It also added that there will be a family gathering at the same venue on Friday 26 followed by a thanksgiving service on Saturday 27 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Sakora Wonoo from 9 am to 1 pm.
It will be recalled that the political guru passed away on Wednesday, July 1 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
Sir John was well noted for his popular phrase 'Fear Delegates'.

In other developments, the bereaved family of Advisor of President Akufo-Addo, Late Dr. Kwae Amoako-Tuffour, have called on the President to officially inform him of the passing of his friend and compatriot.
The delegation was led by a member of NPP's Council of Elders.
Late Dr. Tuffour also passed on at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
