"Emulate Bawumia's loyalty to excel as Vice President" - Akufo-Addo to Napo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the Running-mate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo, to demonstrate unwavering loyalty if he aspires to be an excellent Vice President, akin to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

President Akufo-Addo made these remarks while speaking at NPP Manifesto launch at GSTS, Takoradi in the Western Region over the weekend.

President Akufo-Addo emphasized the importance of loyalty in leadership.

He praised Vice President Bawumia for his dedication and commitment, which have been instrumental in their administration's success.

The President advised Napo that in order to excel in a potential vice-presidential role, he must embody the same level of loyalty and service that Bawumia has consistently shown.

"If he has even half of the loyalty that Bawumia has shown to me, he is going to be an excellent Vice President," President Akufo-Addo stated, underscoring the importance of loyalty in leadership.

This statement is seen as a significant endorsement of Bawumia's qualities and a clear message to aspiring leaders within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) about the values that are essential for leadership excellence.
