Former President, John Dramani Mahama has taken to social media to congratulate and wish Muslims well as they celebrate this year's Eid-ul-Adha.
According to him, he is hopeful that this year's Eid will remind the populace of the value of obedience, sacrifice, and Allah's divine mercy.
In a Facebook post sighted by Thinknewsonline, he said "Sending my warmest wishes to my Muslim brothers and sisters for a blessed and happy Eid-ul-Adha. The Eid reminds us of the value of obedience, sacrifice, and Allah's divine mercy"
He added that the Muslim community safely celebrates with their families and loved ones, may their prayers be answered, and likewise sacrifices be acceptable to Allah.
"May we be inspired by the sacrifice to give back to humanity, something that is bigger than ourselves. Above all, may Allah accept our prayers, heal our world and bless our homeland Ghana. Eid Mubarak! From my wife, Lordina, and I." he concluded.
