EASTERN REGION: Police Begins Investigation Into Alleged Police Misconduct At Begoro

The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kwesi Ofori has hinted that police has begun an investigation into alleged police misconduct which occurred at Begoro in the Eastern Region.

In a statement signed by ACP Kwesi Ofori, the Police Administration has intercepted an audiotape involving some personnel of the Begoro District Police Command of alleged gross misconduct and has since directed that Eastern Regional Police Command to investigate and report on the matter"

The Police through the statement have assured that any personnel found culpable will be sanctioned accordingly.
