US President Donald Trump on Thursday delivered his first speech conceding to 2020 election results.
The embattled Potus’s speech also addressed the recent attack of the Capitol by Pro-Trump supporters.
According to Trump, the attackers violated the state and will be punished. He also called for peace as he works towards a successful transitioning of power on January 20.
Recall Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on Wednesday and disrupted congressman from announcing the certification of electoral college results.
The violent attacks that reports say were incited by Trump’s comments saw the death of at least one person.
In the wake of the attacks, Facebook and Instagram suspended Trump’s accounts indefinitely while Twitter temporarily disabled his accounts and deleted three of his tweets.
