COVID-19: "Kwahu Easter Celebration Has Been Called Off" - Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II


The President of the Kwahu Traditional Council, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II has disclosed that this year's Kwahu Easter celebration has been called off.


According to sources, the call comes following the increasing number of covid-19 cases recorded in the country.

ThinkNews Online has gathered that in a meeting held today at Abene, the Chiefs in Kwahu led by Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II - Kwahuhene President of the Kwahu Traditional Council met with the leadership of the Ghana Tourist Authority of which a decision was made on the cancellation of the event.


They advised the general public to adhere to the covid-19 protocol to help reduce the spread of the virus.
