"Come forward with proof of ownership to claim your vehicles or face forfeiture" - EOCO urges owners of impounded vehicles

The Economic and Organized Finance Office (EOCO) has issued an urgent call for owners of several high-value vehicles, impounded over the years, to come forward and claim their property.

The announcement was made via a press release on Thursday.

The press release highlighted that owners must provide proof of ownership within twenty-one days or risk permanent forfeiture of their vehicles to the state.

EOCO's list of impounded vehicles includes eight notable models: Porsche Cayenne, Honda Accord, Toyota Matrix, Toyota Solara, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Elantra, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson.

These vehicles were seized during a series of targeted operations aimed at curbing illegal activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The deadline imposed by EOCO is critical.
