Citi TV, Adom TV & UTV Journalists Involved In Near-Fatal Accident


Some journalists in the Eastern region have survived a gory accident on the Akyem Oda-Akyem Asene road.

The accident happened on Wednesday evening right on the Birim River after the Toyota Matrix they were on board veered off the road to the edge of the bridge.

Thankfully all the six journalists escaped unhurt but were traumatized by the near-death experience. Sources available to GhanaXtra.Com indicate that they were returning from a press conference at Akyem Akokoaso when the incident occurred.

Those onboard the vehicle were Neil Nii Kanaku, Eastern Regional Correspondent for Citi FM/Citi TV, Michael Akrofi (Eastern Regional Correspondent for Peace FM), and Jessie Amankwah of UTV.

The rest are Kojo Ansah (Eastern regional Correspondent for EIB Network ), Kwasi Azor (Eastern Regional Correspondent for Adom FM/Adom TV ), and Emmanuel Pacome of Daily Graphic.
