President Akufo-Addo has rendered an apology to the people of Cape Coast over the much-talked-about building of a harbour.
President Akufo-Addo rendered the apology following an interview he granted an Accra-based radio station on Thursday morning.
President Akufo-Addo said "Let me confess, I made a mistake on the Cape Coast"
He also added that even with the mistake, the country ought to have a rethink.
"We cannot have a harbor at Takoradi and Elmina and have another one at Cape Coast"
"But I have to apologize to the people of Cape Coast"
President Akufo-Addo also stressed that Presidents are humans who are bound to make mistakes.
President Akufo-Addo also noted that political jabs from opposition party members can never distract him from his work.
