
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BUI PowerAuthority, Samuel Kofi Dzamesi has handed over a renovated 6-unit classroom block to the District Chief Executive of the Banda District at a ceremony held at the Bongase Primary School.
The renovation of the classroom block was done in response to a request made by the assemblyman Hon. Peter Dongi and opinion leaders of Bongase through the DCE's office.
The project was awarded to a local contractor, Mr. Solomon Mensah of Duapa Construction Limited at a cost of Two Hundred and Fifty thousand Ghana cedis (GHS250,000).
In his remarks, the CEO, Hon. Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi highlighted how keen the Authority is, through its Corporate Social Responsibility, in improving the lives of the people in the area and within the district especially in education.
He commended the DCE for his relentless effort in ensuring the progress of these communities.
He assured all gathered of the continuous support of the Authority, especially in the education of the people whilst encouraging the students to concentrate on their studies.
He also stressed the importance of proper maintenance of the property by the school to ensure its longevity.
