Thinknewsonline.com can confirm that fire has gutted somw parts of the Kejetia Market located in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
According to sources, the fire began at a section where car tyres are been sold.
Further information gathered indicates that some persons have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
An eyewitness revealed that a young woman carrying a child jumped from the top of the building to save her and child.
The eyewitness however expressed disappointment in the fire service saying two tankers who rushed to the scene had no water in their tanks.
However, it is emerging that the fire has extended to the second part of the market.
