A Chinese woman identified as Li Yu Zhen has been robbed and shot by some unknown men at Avenor Junction near Atinka Media Village in Accra.
The Chinese woman in her mid 50 was driving a Toyota Prado when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Two fingers of the Chinese woman were severed as a result of the shooting.
Speaking exclusively to Thinknewsonline.com, the victim, Li Yu Zhen said "I went to the West Hill Mall Standard Charatered Bank to deposit money. On returning, the robbers trailed me from West Hills to here, crossed and shot at me"
She added that one of the robbers was unmasked.
Some young men managed to rescue the Chinese woman and drove her to the Entrance University hospital for first aid.
The registration number of the motorcycle was given as AS 22.
