BREAKING NEWS: Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III dies at 91

The Asante Kingdom has been plunged into grief following the passing of its revered Queen Mother, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, at the age of 91.

The Oyoko Royal Family confirmed her death to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during an emergency Asanteman Traditional Council meeting on Monday.

Serving as the second most powerful figure in Asanteman.

She reigned with dignity for eight years, leaving a lasting legacy in the kingdom’s history.
