Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, a controversial socialite and crossdresser, sparked outrage online when he revealed that he would not be fasting during Ramadan.
He revealed on his official Instagram account that he is suffering from menstrual pains and is unable to fast and pray like other people.
This month is the time for Muslims to observe their quarterly fasting in preparation for the upcoming Eid Fitr. However, they have a rule that women who are on their menses are not allowed to fast or pray because they are not full. He wrote; “People have been asking me why I’m not fasting. Well, have been on my period lately!!! As you all know women menstruating are usually not complete”.
