Bawumia And Chief Imam Commiserates With Bereaved Families Of Three Persons Who Died At Ejura (Pics)


The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Osman Sharubutu have commiserated with the bereaved families of the three young men who lost their lives in Ejura in the Ashanti Region.


In commiserating with the family, the Vice President said "On behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the delegation extended the government's deepest condolences to the bereaved families and also assured them of the government's resolve to investigate circumstances that led to the unfortunate deaths of their loved ones"




The Vice President was accompanied by the National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah, Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah, and the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.


Dr. Bawumia and his delegation also visited those who got injured in the unfortunate incident this week.




After the visits, the National Chief Imam and Dr. Bawumia, joined the Muslim community to observe Jummah prayers at the Ejura Central Mosque.


The High-profiled delegation said Muslim prayers for the three people who lost their lives.




"May the Almighty Allah welcome them and grant them Jannatul Firdaus" he concluded.
