Barbara Oteng-Gyasi Takes 'Aseda' Tour To Prestea (Pictures)

The Outgoing Member of Parliament (MP) for Prestea Huni-valley constituency, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, on Sunday, January 3, took her 'Aseda' (Thank you) tour to Prestea to thank the Constituents for ensuring a peaceful December Election.

The MP visited the Central Mosque at Prestea where she met with the Chief Imam, Alhaji Abdul Karim Hassan and other Moslem leaders to express appreciation to Almighty Allah for his protection and guidance throughout her four years in Parliament.

The legislator was grateful to the Chief Imam and the Moslem community for reposing confidence in her to represent them in Parliament in 2016.

According to the MP, despite her loss in the December polls, prudent measures will be put in place to ensure continual support from her outfit to the constituency.

The Chief Imam used the occasion to wish the legislator well and further offered prayers for her and the NPP fraternity.

She later called on Nana Abbiam Danso and his elders at the Ayinam palace to show her appreciation for their unflinching support.

In the MP's retinue were the Municipal Chief Executive for the area Dr. Isaac Dasmani and executives of NPP.
