The final funeral rites for the late Asante Kotoko SC supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley is currently underway at Heroes Park in Kumasi.
Nana Pooley, a well-known and passionate fan of the Porcupine Warriors, tragically lost his life a month ago after he was allegedly stabbed by unidentified individuals at the home grounds of Nsoatreman FC during a football match.
His passing has left the Asante Kotoko fraternity and the Ghanaian football community in deep sorrow.
Mourners, including football enthusiasts, club officials, and sympathizers, have gathered at Heroes Park to pay their last respects to the dedicated supporter, whose unwavering love for Kotoko was widely recognized.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation, with calls for justice growing louder from football stakeholders and supporters alike.
