Government's Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its FlagbearerJohn Dramani Mahama should forget about winning the 2024 Presidential elections.
According to Mr. Boakye-Danquah, any candidate chosen by NPP as its next Flagbearer will beat John Mahama come December 7, 2024.
Speaking on an Accra-based television station, he said "The NPP has done well since 2017 now. The NDC and John Mahama should even forget about the 2024 general election"

Responding to a comment made by a member of the NDC communication team, Kweku Boahen, on the issue of the by-election in Assin North, Mr Palgrave said, the strategy used by NPP at Kumawu by-election would be used to beat the NDC on June 27, 2023.
He charged the NDC to learn from the NPP when it comes to issues of elections.
He was confident that the NPP will win the Assin North by-election.
Mr Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has however, made his intentions to contest in the parliamentary primaries in Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region for the party.
He added that he is waiting for the leadership of the party to announce the opening for picking of Parliamentary nomination forms.
