Ghanaian Actress and Movie Producer, Ama K. Abebrese has called for more continuous dialogue on the much-talked-about Lesbianism, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) brouhaha in Ghana.
According to her, she aims to have a better understanding of their plight.
In an interview monitored by ThinkNews Online, she said "I cannot pretend I know the fear that homosexuals and lesbians living in Ghana feel; the laws of Ghana criminalize homosexuality. The customs, many religion, and the culture frown upon it"
She added that no one can judge the LGBT community adding that each soul will receive his/her own judgment on judgment day.
"Just because I may not fully understand what they go through doesn't mean that they do not deserve basic human rights" she noted.
