Private Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has revealed that Social Media Influencer, Rosemond Brown known in showbiz as Akuapem Poloo may suffer 5000 penalty units or serve a 10 years jail term or both if found guilty for child pornography.
According to the learned lawyer, her punishment when meted on her will serve as a signal to other celebrities and Ghanaians who open expose their children to child pornography and abuse.
Speaking on an Accra-based television station, the Legal Practitioner said "Look, we are going to send a signal. There is so much of indecency, the level of indecency in this country is too much"
He further cautioned parents who bath with their child to stop adding that such act is a violation against obscenity which falls under the country's laws.
"We are exposing the children to all forms of sexual impunity which has a bad negative effect" he added.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw noted that every child in the country has the right to be protected adding that failure to do so, exposes the kid from security threat.
He said "When you show your child on social media, there are people who look at the child tag them as privileged child. They become so offended because they lack such opportunity so that child can be kidnapped"
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw also mentioned that kidnappers take huge sums of monies from negligent parents before releasing their kids to them .
