Airport Authorities seek public assistance to locate suspected contraband

The suspects, identified as Bakri Fageer Mohammed Mahmoud, a Congolese national claiming to be a businessman, Al Ruqaishi Ali Said Humaid Ali, an Omani national, and Kwame Francois, an Ivorian national, were detained near the airport premises.

Security personnel seized a metal box from the suspects but believe an additional 400 boxes may be hidden in a nearby warehouse.

The contents of these boxes have not been disclosed for security reasons.

The suspects are currently in custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
