Aglow International Ghana, a Christian women’s and prayer support group has held its first 2021 monthly intercessory prayers at the Black Star Square in Accra.
The over 2000 women interceded and prayed for a fruitful and violent-free 2021.
Leading the women's group, National Prayer Director of Aglow International Ghana, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, charged the youth in the country to drift away from fornication stressing it is not from God.
"When I met with the singles, I spoke to them about how wrong fornication is and asked them to drift away from it about to my surprise, a vast majority of them told me, they cannot stop fornicating"
She also appealed to the women group to be each other's keeper.
"We will be praying against limiting the power of God. We are disgracing God. We will be praying about it and ask God to guide and guard our path this year and the years to come"
"God has helped us to transit into a new year. God has been able to be with us even during the covid-19 pandemic. Above all, He has kept the peace of Ghana intact"
She dedicated and prayed against terrorist attacks on Ghana.
The women's group prayed for the Presidency, Parliamentarians, Chief Justices, Media, and the various security agencies in the country.
