ACCRA GIRLS SHS: 6 Girls Tests Positive

Information reaching ThinkNewsOnline indicates that 6 females students of Accra Girls Senior High School have tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic.

According to sources, the students have sent to the school's isolation centre.

It is emerging that the Ayawaso North Health directorate has directed some health workers to attend to the situation.

"11 students at the sickbay and some of them tested positive. They have been rushed to the Ga East Municipal Hospital for treatment" a source said.

ThinkNewsOnline has also gathered that whiles some students are complaining of living in fear, parents of some students are calling for their wards to be released to them.

Weeks ago, President Akufo-Addo in his address to the nation assured parents that he will ensure the 'Akufo-Addo graduates' are safe and exposed to covid-19.

He mentioned that all schools would be fumigated before students are allowed to access them.

ThinkNewsOnline will be monitoring and will keep readers updated.
