ABLEKUMA CENTRAL: "Violence Must Have No Place In Our Elections" - Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang


The Vice Presidential Candidate for the opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has been commiserating with the family of the Late Ibrahim Abass who was shot at the collation centre at the Ablekuma Central Constituency on election day.


According to Prof. Opoku Agyemang, she is saddened by the demise of the young man adding violence must have no place in Ghana's elections.



Speaking to Journalists, she said "I have been commiserating with the family of Ibrahim Abass, the young NDC activist who was shot at a collation centre in the Ablekuma Central Constituency on December 7 after he lost the battle for his life earlier today. Violence must have no place in our elections"


Prof. Naana Opoku Agyemang assured the family that the leadership of the NDC will not rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice.



"I also visited the injured in the hospital and those discharged in their homes. You have our strongest assurance that we shall not rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice" she assured.


She prayed that the Almighty Allah grant the beautiful soul of Ibrahim Abass and all those killed by bloodthirsty hoodlums during the 2020 elections, Jannatul Firdaus.
