26 Die, 70 Injured In Separate Road Crashes On Buipe-Tamale Highway

At least 26 persons have died in car crashes that occurred at a particular spot in Ghana over the last two weeks.

Some 70 people also got injured from the crashes that occurred at the spot in question.

The crashes occurred separately on Buipe-Tamale highway near Sarekyekura, in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region of Ghana.

The first crash which occurred on February 3, 2021, killed at least 24 people and injured about 55 persons.

That incident involved two Yutong buses.

On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, another crash on the same spot killed two persons and injured about 15 persons.

The Wednesday crash occurred around 10:00 pm, African Entertainment gathered from an eyewitness account.

African Entertainment understands that the latest crash occurred after one of the tyres of a blue KIA Sky bus with the registration number GR 7287-21, burst.
