News coming in indicates that 15 Members of Parliament (MPs) of Ghana's Parliament have tested positive for covid-19 in the country.
According to sources, 56 other Parliamentary Staff have also contracted the virus.
It will be recalled that the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin threatened to reveal the identity of the MPs who have contracted the virus if they do not stop coming to the chamber.
The Speaker also added that due to some MPs contracting the virus, the house will sit twice a week to help reduce the spread of the pandemic.
ThinkNews Online can confirm that Parliament is at the moment using its temporal structure as meeting grounds.
It believes it will help reduce the spread of the covid.
However, the Members of Parliament have challenged the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin saying he has no right to disclose their medical report.
