The Main Opposition Party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will be laying a 'special wreath' on July 24 in memory of the Late John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills who passed away ten (10) years ago.
In a release signed by the Chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, he said "To commemorate 10 years of His passing, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will have a special wreath laying ceremony on the 24th of July 2022 at Ipm at the Asomdwee Park at Osu in Accra"
The statement also reminded the public on how the Late Former Head of State passed while in office as the sitting President.
It said "On the 24th of July 2012, at 1.40pm our father, brother, leader, husband, friend and former President of the Republic of Ghana, Professor John Evans Atta Mills was called by His Maker"
Mr. Ampofo is calling all to make it in their numbers to celebrate the Fallen her
The Chairman further asked for the gentle soul of the Late President to rest in perfect peace.
