LOCAL NEWS: "Government Free Water Policy Extended To The End Of Year, 2020" - Cecilia Dapaah

The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has revealed that President Akufo-Addo has extended the policy on 'Free Water For All Ghanaians' for another three months from 1st October to 31st December, 2020.

According to the Minister, this is to enable Ghanaians continue with the protocols especially of hands under running water to help fight the fight covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement signed and released by the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, it said "The Ministry appeals to consumers to use water judiciously in the observance of the protocols"

It further urged all landlords and tanker service providers to refrain from charging or selling water to consumers as Government is paying for the water.
