The Black Satellites of Ghana have won the 2021 edition of the CAF U-20 Nations Cup.


 
On Saturday evening, March 6, 2021, the Black Satellites defeated the Hippos of Uganda to lift their fourth trophy in the CAF U-20 Nations Cup.
 

 
The result was a historic one as it coincided with the 64th Independence Day Celebration of Ghana.

Ghana faced early pressu

re from Uganda in the match played in Mauritania but remained focused throughout the game.


 
The Hippos failed to utilize their early chances, becoming very wasteful as the match progressed.
 

 
Accra Hearts Oak striker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, found the opener for the Black Satellites from a close angle with his left toe.
