President Akufo-Addo Goes Into 14-Day Self-Isolation After A Staff Tested Positive For COVID-19

Information reaching ThinkNewsOnline indicates that President Akufo-Addo has been advised to go into a 14-day self-isolation after a staff in his close circle tested positive for covid-19.

According to the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the self-isolation is a part of measures of complying to the covid-19 protocols.

In a communique signed by the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and sighted by ThinkNewsOnline, it said "On the advice of doctors, the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, is from today, July 4, 2020 taking a fourteen (14) day precautionary self-isolation measure in compliance with Covid-19 protocols"

The Information Minister also added that President Akufo-Addo will henceforth be working from the Presidential villa at the Jubilee House, Accra.
